Ewan McGregor and actor pal Charley Boorman congratulate each other on Saturday after completing a 15,000-mile motorcycle journey together from John O’Groats Scotland to Cape Town, South Africa.

The best buddies arrived at the end of their Long Way Down trip, which took them three months to complete and took them through 18 countries on two continents. Their journey was all videotaped and will be made into a UK TV series. In 2004, they conducted a similar trip, called Long Way Round which saw them travel from London to New York.

Ewan said at the end of road, “The Long Way Down has been an amazing journey and it has been a real privilege to be able to experience these diverse and beautiful places. We’ve had the opportunity to see such different ways of life to ours and have traveled to remote places very few people have access to.”

“Eddie Murphy always has and will continue to honor his responsibilities as a father. Mr. Murphy and Ms. Brown dated very briefly and never made any plans of ANY sort. He acknowledges paternity of the child Angel, and has paid child support to Ms. Brown as well as covering the expenses of her pregnancy. Mr. Murphy views this as a private matter and as such, will not be making any further comments about it.”
