Jen Aniston's big-budget summer movie He's Just Not That Into You -- her first release since the surprise hit The Break-Up two years ago -- isn't going to be on the big screen anytime soon.
Asked if it's true that the release date of Jen's film has been pushed back from Aug. 1 to Oct. 24, a New Line rep confirms to Life & Style, "That is the tentative new release date, though I don't believe its 100 percent official yet. It's definitely no longer August 1."
According to an insider close to the actress, Jennifer's romantic comedy has quietly been shifted because of mounting buzz for the Sex and the City film, expected to be a big draw among female audiences this summer.
The move underscores a professional rivalry between Jen and Sarah Jessica Parker. "Jen was looking forward to going up against the Sex ensemble -- especially Sarah Jessica -- and some of the other summer blockbusters," says the insider. "They've never been friends in real life, and probably never will be.
"But Jen's convinced her film has a superior story and more attractive cast. People are going to compare these movies and she doesn't regret taking part in the project. This is the script that lured her back to work after taking two years off. She's standing by her belief that it is a worthy picture." |

Who knew a few trips to the bathroom could cause so much controversy! After Ashlee Simpson, 23, was spotted looking queasy and making several restroom visits while lunching with pals, rumors about a possible pregnancy started flying around the Internet.
An insider close to the couple says that there's no way Ashlee would ever have a baby without a legal ceremony. "Because she's so religious," says the insider, "she'd definitely want to be married before bringing a child into the world."
Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie, who's due to give birth to twins in early summer, isn't like most moms, who consider eating a pleasure, not a chore. Before conceiving for a second time with her partner, Brad Pitt, Angelina complained that exhaustion had often robbed her of her appetite.
So packing on about 20 pounds for the sake of her babies hasn't been easy for the actress. "For someone so thin, it's been a big adjustment," says an insider.
And Jamie Lynn Spears, who is home in Kentwood, La., and due to give birth to her first child with beau Casey Aldridge, 18, in late spring was the only family member not present when Britney reunited with her formerly estranged mother, Lynne, over a quiet dinner in LA on April 12.
And though Jamie Lynn puts on a brave face, she sure seems to be hurting. "She tells people she's fine without Lynne, but she's just 17 years old and has basically been left behind while everyone focuses on Brit," the insider notes.

Since Britney Spears and Kevin Federline split up, their custody arrangement has changed frequently. But one thing has remained constant: When the time has come to drop off Sean Preston and Jayden James at either of their parent's houses, bodyguards have done the honors, says a friend of Kevin's, so Britney and Kevin could avoid each other.
But that's been changing lately. In recent weeks, Kevin's begun dropping off the boys at Britney's LA house himself, the friend reveals. In fact, Kevin and Britney were talking on April 8, the friend says, "and Britney gave Kevin a kiss in front of their sons."

Britney Spears was so touched by Idol Gives Back on Wednesday, April 9, that she donated $25,000 to the cause, Life & Style can exclusively reveal.
"She did it all on her own. She watched the show and cried for like two hours over the children in Africa with malaria," a Spears family insider tells Life & Style.
"She didn't know much about the disease, so she Googled it. She was horrified to realize kids were dying from mosquito bites.
"So she went online and donated after getting [her dad] Jamie's permission. She used her Amex."
A spokesperson for Fox declined to comment.

Jennifer Lopez certainly isn't taking a post-baby break! The mom of 7-week-old twins Emme and Max has managed to get her famous curves back on track despite double diaper duty and around-the-clock feedings. In fact, J.Lo, who admits she gained between 45 and 50 pounds during her pregnancy, has shed nearly all her extra weight already, an insider close to the star tells Life & Style.
But dropping 40 pounds since her Feb. 22 Caesarean section hasn't been an entirely stress-free feat. "Jennifer said she feels a lot of pressure together figure back," says a witness at NYC's Rita Hazan Salon, where the shapely singer was getting pampered on March 28. "Rita insisted that Jennifer looked incredible," adds the witness, "but J.Lo was modest and said she still had some pounds that had to go."
Like any new mom, J.Lo has been encouraged by her weight loss so far. "Now she has tons of energy," says a friend, "and it's a thrill for her to try on clothes she shoved in the back of her closet 10 months ago." But even though J.Lo is motivated to drop her pregnancy weight, it's not her top priority. "Motherhood defines her now," the friend says. "Everything else, including her weight, is taking a backseat to Emme and Max."

Katie Holmes drew more stares than usual when she had dinner at LA's Osteria Mozza on March 31. "She came in with a new haircut," says an eyewitness. "She looked really tired and thin."
Indeed, she appears to be in a slump lately. "Katie Holmes seems to be finding it harder and harder to be Katie Holmes," says an insider close to the 29-year-old star. "Tom is always on, but she gets worn out. She needs a break."

The chemistry between Ashton Kutcher and Margarita Levieva, his co-star in the new romantic comedy Spread, has certainly been believable. And during shooting of a sexy swimming pool scene on March 24, one witness was shocked by what happened when the cameras weren't rolling.
"The mood between the two of them was very flirtatious," the witness says. In one unguarded moment, when Ashton, 30, and Margarita, 23, were facing each other and waiting to resume shooting, the actress "ran her fingertips over his stomach," says the witness.

At last! After five years together, Beyoncé Knowles, 26, and Jay-Z, 38, finally tied the knot on April 4 in a private ceremony in NYC. And to celebrate their first night as husband and wife, the couple threw a lavish bash for 30 friends and family members at Jay-Z's three-story penthouse in the city's Tribeca neighborhood.
No expense was spared for the rooftop reception. Five-foot-tall silver candelabras and 60,000 white flowers decorated the tent set up for the occasion. DJ Cassidy, a favorite of the groom's, was hired to spin for guests. Experts estimate that flowers alone cost $400,000!
