It seemed fitting that storm clouds were overhead when Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie entered the Kabbalah Centre in NYC on July 5. "Madonna didn't look so hot," says an onlooker. "She didn't look like a happy camper." She must have been doubly upset in the days that followed. On July 7, Alex Rodriguez's wife, Cynthia, filed for divorce from the baseball star, claiming their marriage was "irretrievably broken" because of Alex's "extramarital affairs and other misconduct." Cynthia's lawyer, Earle Lilly, called Alex's relationship with Madonna "the final straw." Moreover, after a concert in NYC on April 30, Madonna didn't go home to Guy and the kids. Instead, she partied the night away with Alex at The Box. "She was sitting with Justin Timberlake, and Alex was one seat away and kept handing them drinks," recalls a clubgoer.
