Buffy and Angel fans hold onto your hats because we?re about to get a new TV series from Fox created and written by Joss Whedon starring Eliza Dushku! Here?s the skinny:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon is heading back to TV, along with his Buffy co-star Eliza Dushku, with Dollhouse, an SF series that Fox has given a seven-episode order, Variety reported.

Dollhouse follows a top-secret world of people programmed with different personalities, abilities and memories, depending on their mission.

After each assignment?which can be physical, romantic or even illegal?the characters have their memories wiped clean and are sent back to a lab (dubbed the dollhouse). The show centers on Dushku’s character, Echo, as she slowly begins to develop some self-awareness. (Source)

A new Joss Whedon TV show is definitely something to cheer about, but add Eliza Dushku to the mix and you have must see TV. I?m a little surprised that they just don?t go for a Faith TV series, but the premise of Dollhouse sounds interesting and I have no doubt in my mind that it?s going to be great. I just hope Fox doesn?t screw this one up.

The new trailer for Kung Fu Panda starring (the voices of) Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Lucy Liu, and Jackie Chan has finally arrived. It?s not all that funny but the animation is some of the best I?ve seen. And is it just me or are the voices distracting since we know them so well? The movie opens June 6, 2008.
