Here?s what appears to be the first set of pictures of the Joker from the set of the next Batman film, The Dark Knight. It definitely looks like the Joker, but I?m not sure if it?s Heath Ledger or some stand-in. Whoever it is, I?m just happy they look like the Joker and not some screwed up version of the villain. Definitely looks cool.

I found this quite amusing. Kirsten Dunst thinks that if they decided to make a Spider-Man film without her, co-star Tobey Maguire, and director Sam Raimi, the film would be a flop.

“Audiences aren’t stupid. It’d be a big flop without me, Tobey or Sam,” Dunst said in a story posted on the celebrity magazine’s Web site, ew.com.

Clearly, Kirsten Dunst doesn?t know what she?s talking about. Well, to be fair she is right about one thing; a Spider-Man film without Raimi, and Maguire probably wouldn?t do as well as the previous ones. But does she really think that the film would flop if she were to be replaced? Cast Lindsay Lohan as the redheaded Mary Jane and I bet the movie will do even better. Actually, that’s not such a bad casting decision if I do say so myself.

Edward Norton has been set by Marvel Studios to play Bruce Banner in “The Incredible Hulk.” The Louis Leterrier-directed drama will be distributed by Universal Pictures, with an opening set for June 13, 2008.

After the mess that was Ang Lee?s The Hulk, it looks like Marvel Studios are on the right track with The Incredible Hulk. Edward Norton as Bruce Banner? Now that?s perfect casting. I?m actually shocked that they were able to get Norton. They must have thrown a ton of cash at him. And getting an action director such as Louis Leterrier (Transporter 2, Unleashed) is also a smart move. No word on who will be playing Betty Ross yet, but I wouldn’t mind seeing Jennifer Connelly again. Now let’s just hope pray the script is good.
