Beautiful people Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry walked hand in hand on their way out of the Stevie Wonder concert at LA's Hollywood Bowl last night. Halle was showing off that glow fresh from Hawaii where she was modeling a bikini over the weekend in a photo shoot. Baby Nahla stayed at home for this one - I guess she's still getting good and ready for when we finally get to meet the almost-four-month-old little one. While we're still eagerly anticipating our first Nahla sighting, just getting to see hot Gabriel now and then is good enough for me.

The Simpson girls and their men got an early start on celebrating Jessica's 28th birthday this Thursday with dinner out at Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas, CA, last night. Both Jessica and Ashlee had on their cowboy boots, though Jess stole the show with her b-day girl party dress and her real life Cowboy Tony holding her hand. I'm thinking no margaritas for Ashlee this time, but hopefully Jess celebrated with a few - she's got a lot to be happy about these days as a future aunt with a hot boyfriend who makes her happy and a country album on the way that's already getting some good reviews. Plus, seeing how rowdy things got at Tony's b-day, he's probably got some fun planned for her this week.

Lauren Conrad looked gorgeous showing off a few sassy Summer outfits for a photoshoot with LA Direct Magazine. The California girl is just as sunny in her interview as she is in the photos, talking about her great year and how far she's come since her days on Laguna Beach. Here are highlights:

• "I always say this isn't what I signed up for. I thought I signed up for a one-episode documentary."
• "I feel like [the show] makes me look like I sit around all day and feel sorry for myself, but I'm actually a very happy person. Sometimes I want to reach into the TV and smack myself, and say 'get over it.'"
• "It's been a crazy four years, but they've been amazing. I got to travel all around the world. I've met so many cool people. I've had all these opportunities. I'm really lucky. You got to take the good with the bad."

Lauren has come a long way since those Laguna Beach days, but it's refreshing to hear her sound so grounded and humble. Plus, we love to hear that she's more upbeat than it sometimes seems on her show.

Kate Hudson showed off her very toned looking arms - thanks Pilates! - on her way out of the Coffee Bean in LA yesterday. After yesterday's attention catching lunch with Lance and her mom Goldie, Kate had a moment of alone time while two of her favorite men displayed their physiques with a male-bonding run. The actress loves her flowy dresses, which always incite certain rumors, but clearly she's fit as ever these days taking a moment out of her busy social schedule to get her caffeine fix.

After taking a little break from the scene since we last saw her tanning on June 20, Lauren Conrad was back out in Hollywood last night looking refreshed and gorgeous. She and her entourage including Lo hit up Crown Bar for a little pre-Fourth of July partying. Not everyone can pull off the high-waisted shorts and still look adorable like Lauren, but if you want to sport some of her designs instead you're in luck - they're on sale! In the meantime, I'm sure we'll see a lot more of LC and her breezy California girl-style as she and her friends celebrate the long weekend away with some of those beach bonfires we know so well.

Jake Gyllenhaal looked like he was really enjoying his training for Prince of Persia in London today. The white horse is princely for sure, but we don't know if we quite feel the same way about his scruffy beard and long hair. Either way, it looks like we'll have plenty of action scenes packed with cute Jake galloping around when the fantasy movie finally hits the theaters.

As expected, Lindsay Lohan celebrated her birthday in style at Teddy's last night. She went heavy on the ruffles and diamonds with a costume change into a hot-pink strapless number partway through the night at the prom-themed party, while Samantha stuck to her version of a tuxedo. Sam kept by Lindsay's side as she mingled and blew out the candles on her Marilyn Monroe cake before taking over for DJ AM to spin for a while. Sounds like LL had a scandal-free birthday this year, sticking to red bull and behaving herself, aside from telling her party guests to "Shut the f*ck up" when they asked for a speech. She was even bright and chipper enough this morning to chat with Ryan Seacrest about the bash and her upcoming album.
