For a guy who likes nothing more than sitting around drinking a beer and watching the game on TV, Nick's been quite happy to get all gussied up with Vanessa recently. To be fair, last weekend's big event was the Kentucky Derby, so it was still right up his sporting alley. Thursday, on the other hand, he and Vanessa co-hosted the Candie's Foundation Event to Prevent at Christie's. The benefit raised money to help educate teens about pregnancy prevention. Hosting events together seems like a pretty serious move, but considering these two already moved in together, it's no surprise. Now we just have to wonder what's up next for these two lovebirds.

America's beautiful pearly whites are really paying off -- she's just had her smile insured for $10 Million through Lloyd's of London. Aquafresh White Trays is sponsoring the insurance and will also donate $1 for every box of White Trays sold between now and August 31. All the money will go to Smiles for Success a program which provides dental care for women in need. Ten million for teeth may seem a little much, but at least the money is going to a great cause! In fact, America is just the latest in a long line of celebs with body parts insured. Must be crazy to have one part of your body worth so much!

Sheryl Crow announced today on her website that she's adopted a little boy. She doesn't really go into many details except for the fact that he is two weeks old and "His name is Wyatt (after my dad) Steven (after my little brother and Scooter) and we are enjoying some very private family time." How perfect is it that her little one arrived just in time for Mother's Day? We're sure that we'll hear more about him soon. Congrats to Sheryl and her family!

Paris looked pretty ridiculous biking through Runyon Canyon in a sequins tank yesterday. She's obviously enjoying her pre-jail freedom, though now some are saying she may not have to serve her full sentence. The California jails are already overcrowded and according to a spokesperson from the sheriff's office a lesser offender like Paris could only have to serve half her time. For instance, the detention center Paris is set to report to let Michelle Rodriguez go after serving a few hours of her 60 day sentence for the same offense. Even after yesterday's statement about her sentence, we bet that is music to Paris' ears.

Jessica Simpson put on some fancy schmancy dresses for a photoshoot out on Coney Island this week. I'm not sure what magazine or ad campaign these are for, but it looks like she got herself some men in uniform to pose with her. Being that close to Jess, I doubt they were complaining. She's in NYC hanging out with her man John, he didn't make it out to watch his lady strike a pose. That's all well and good, but what I want to know about Jess' trip to CI is whether or not she got herself Nathan's Famous Hot Dog at their original Coney Island location? Totally important information.

Drew headed to Capitol Hill this week to accept a position as an Ambassador against Hunger for the United Nation's World Food Program. She will work to lobby Congress to expand funding for school meals. Fellow Ambassador and world-record marathon holder Paul Tergat also joined her on the hill to talk about the great cause. Drew has been a busy lady lately and she's doing everything from movie premieres, to make-up to this. How can you not love this girl?!

Lindsay Lohan was awfully smiley on her way to tape Conan yesterday afternoon. Maybe an evening with Calum Best was all she needed to wipe that scowl off her face? Unfortunately, friends of the Lohan worry that Calum may not be the Best (sorry, sorry, had to) thing ever and may, in fact, be just using Lindsay for her fame. Hey, at least she's happy for the moment? For her sake, I hope she's one of those starlets who doesn't read her own reviews, because Georgia Rule is taking a beating by the critics, ours included. Rachel and Hayden, to where are you transporting Thurman Murman? I see your fancy new carrying case for the puppy, but where, pray tell, are you taking him? A romantic getaway mayhaps? Yeah, I'm totally forcing myself to buy these two as a couple. My love for Rachel can withstand lots of things, but I'm not sure how long I can pretend to love her series of unflattering jean shorts. And while she's doing away with those, maybe she could do something about Hayden's goofy shoes, too? That would be just dandy. Side note: he makes her look even more mini than usual.
