The stars not only flock to the desert to check out cool music for Coachella each year. There is a lot of cool music but as expected they scored a ton of swag as well. Ex-OCers, Adam Brody and Mischa Barton were just a few who stopped by a private residence in Palm Springs to party and pick up some goodies at the DKNY Jeans collection. Mischa finally ditched the mom jeans but she is totally going overboard with her I'm a cool music fanatic look. Tara still aims to improve but leaves little to the imagination. Adam looks adorable as always, posing with Elisha Cuthbert and Amber Tamblyn. Jessica Alba seemed to be enjoying herself for her birthday weekend. The actress turned 26 on Saturday.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were in Sydney for the Australian MTV Music Awards but the couple made time for some PDA at the zoo. Nicole was bashful one minute and smiling for the cameras the next. Apparently she petted a koala bear (I thought they were actually unfriendly cute creatures but perhaps she has some special way with them).

Jessica was looking a little bit more, uh, covered up than other recent times while hanging out with John in Atlanta last week. It seems that whenever John leaves her for a leg of his tour, she feels the desire to show off the girls, but hey, whatever floats her boat. Besides, it's hard to be annoyed by Jess when she and John are just so darn cute together. I may be in the minority, but I'm really pulling for these two.

Kate Bosworth may have headed over to Maui with philanthropic intentions, but she still made some time for beach frolicking with her boyfriend James Rousseau. Heck, if you're going to Maui anyway, may as well make a vacation of it. She's still not rocking the full on surfer girl Blue Crush body, but girlfriend is looking better than she has in recent years. Beyond that, though, she looks happy with her hot little boy toy, so, brava.

After putting a collage together to celebrate Madonna's 25th anniversary in show business we realized it's been quite a while since The Material Mama has really changed up her look. However the wait is over. Madonna showed off her short strawberry blonde do this weekend in London. We're not totally loving this cut but we'll wait to see it from all sides before we make our final decision! Plus, knowing Madge, just as we start to love it she'll reinvent herself again!

Victoria Beckham stopped off in LA for a whirlwind one day visit, but obviously she found some time to shop. Obviously. This weekend a bunch of celebs found a reason to head to Hawaii for more then just a vacation. The opening of Duo at the fabulous Four Seasons was also a charity event for Maui Food Bank?s kids Cafe. The adorable Alyson Hannigan was seen with Amanda Bynes (oh Amanda what is this new look you are sporting? Where's the cute girl we love?). Kate Bosworth looked great next to Christina Applegate and it looks like it was a Sex and the City reunion for the men. There are still rumors of a movie version but we can hardly see Carrie ending up with either of these guys.

Damn Jessica came out in full effect this weekend. She flaunted her slightly lighter locks in LA to distract us from her curvy obvious features. This weekend she spent time with the other man in her life, Ken Paves. The two had dinner at Chi Dynasty and then continued on to Desden. Ken must be proud of himself. Jessica's latest hair looks gorgeous these days and paired with her, well, pair, she looks every bit the movie star. The girls have come out to play again.
