Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown has given birth to a new baby girl. The baby girl was born at 12.11am at St John's Hospital in Santa Monica, California.

A spokeswoman for the singer said in a statement to the press: "The baby is completely healthy with a good head of hair. Mother and baby are now resting.

"No name has been decided on as yet, and she is purely known as Baby Brown."

The 31 year old has insisted Eddie is the father. However, the actor has claimed otherwise and has demanded a blood test.

According to People magazine, Eddie told Dutch TV show RTL Boulevard back in December: "I don't know whose child that is, until it comes out and has a blood test."

Beyonce is looking to conquer that latin record market with the release of six Spanish songs for the Deluxe Edition of her hit album B'day. The singer had to take some basic Spanish lessons in order to sound credible when singing the songs.

She says, "I did grow up in Houston, Texas, so I was around Spanish; I took it at school but I completely forgot it. I had the best coach; I did it phonetically, every sentence I recorded maybe four times."

And her Spanish is being praised by language experts and critics alike, who are impressed with her bilingual skills and accent. She says, "That's a great compliment."

She was just doing her civic duty by reporting for jury duty. She reported to the Beverly Hills Courthouse on Monday morning, where she spent a majority of the day.

According to the report, an assistant was at J.Lo's side in the jury holding room and the pair of them were making cell phone calls and texting.

While she was in the holding room, a fan approached the singer and reportedly asked her to autograph a CD.

Late Monday, Lopez and the other potential jurors in her group were dismissed, ABC News said, after a judge told them the case was dropped.

I'll admit that lately, I haven't been much of a shopper. I am by no means a Kate McChesney. My purse strings are pulled pretty tight at the moment, so it was somewhat out of the ordinary for me to actually set out on a field trip with the express purpose of shopping in mind. However, since I have buddies who frequent the Sunset Plaza area, (located along both sides of the Sunset Strip, between La Cienega and San Vicente Boulevards, at Sunset Plaza Drive) I figured that I could at the very least go for some window-shopping and a coffee.

Like I've said before, the place has PARKING--tons and tons of parking, and if you're anything like me and hate parking garages with a passion, then you'll understand why the afternoon already started off on a good note when I was able to very easily park my car, without a ticket or hassle and start off on my journey for some fun trinkets.

As always, my celebrity radar was turned on and even though I know that all kinds of famous peeps frequent the area, it must have been a slow day for celebs, since I managed to catch a glimpse of exactly no one. However, keep in mind that I was a bit more obsessed with finding a good deal than a flash-bulb-worthy famous face.

The road to splitsville is a long and tedious path, full of backhanded barbs and finger pointing.

Last week, Kris Van Assche filled the designer shoes of Hedi Slimane as the creative director at Dior. Things didn't end on a happy note when negotiations with Slimane soured and the couture house asked Assche to step in to replace Silmane.

Now, Hedi is airing out his side of the story in a lengthy scrolling post on Slimane's website, chronicling his time at Dior. Long, long, story short the explanation boils down to Slimane claiming he was forced to stick to his "principles."

Because celebrity gossip has been soooooo slow, and because it's within walking distance of my apartment, but mostly because MK from Popbytes suggested that we do it, I ended up at Sunday brunch at Scientology's famed Celebrity Center. Let me apologize in advance for not snagging any pix on this field trip, since it would have looked highly suspect. So, my boyfriend, Keegan, and I met up with MK near my apartment and walked down the street on Franklin to the enormous building, where we very nervously sashayed up to experience what we were hoping would be our creepiest brunch experience ever.

At first, we couldn't exactly tell how to get in, so we noticed two woman very carefully studying the petals of a flower. One woman seemed to be instructing the other as to how she wanted to flower treated. After a moment, one of us cleared our throat and said, "Excuse me--" only to have the woman who seemed to be giving the instructions, without looking up at us, say, "One moment." Then, the two women continued studying the flower in silence. After a moment, they had finished and the woman rose to answer our question. It was at that point, Keegan later told me, that he had half a mind to grab me by the arm and run.

I had forgotten that I actually seemed to like Hilary Duff as a person, until she started getting quoted more often in the media. I guess having a new album out will do that for a person.

The 19-year-old actress and singer told People Magazine that she's either perceived as too fat or too thin in the media, which she says can be "judgmental and mean."

"And if you don't like the way you look or feel insecure, when people say things about you -- in magazines or just in everyday life -- they can be hurtful. ... But you'll never make them happy," she told the magazine.

Because her hubby, David and her famous buddies, Jennifer Lopez and Katie Holmes will not be making any appearances on Victoria Beckham's proposed reality television series, it looks like the plug may be pulled on the whole shebang. According to the Daily Express, which, incidentally, claims to be "The World's Greatest Newspaper":

The show, says our mole, will be about Victoria's "adventures around the clothes stores of Beverly Hills and the secret ladies-who-lunch hangouts of Bel Air."

In response to reports that Debra Opri's bill for her former client Larry Birkhead was over $600,000 and included exorbitant cell phone bills and dinners without Larry even present, girlfriend has issued a statement of her own. From TMZ:

"One can only imagine from whom and for what purposes these stories were started. I cannot comment on unauthenticated documents which were disseminated to the media under suspicious circumstances, and which are covered by the attorney-client privilege. I can assure you, however, that all of the fees and expenses incurred on behalf of Mr. Birkhead were reasonable, necessary, and appropriate, given the complexity and magnitude of this very high profile case that was litigated in two different states and a foreign country. Out of respect for Mr. Birkhead, I cannot comment further at this time."
