The beach bum spent some time inland last night at a trendy Melrose Place salon. It's kind of hard to tell in the dark what he got done - if anything! Maybe just a blowout? He kept quiet on the subject of Camilla, but did speak in Spanish to his waiting compadres as got into the car to leave...

That's right - Pammy was out cheering her heart out for her son's Little League team on Saturday. And we have to give her credit for trying to keep it modest around the kids - even during the sweltering heat, Pam kept herself under wraps to make sure all the attention stayed on the field. Besides, even with the blanket, she was most likely doing a perfectly fine job of encouraging guys to play with their balls already!

Here's what I heard from a Britney fan Christina about last night's rumored San Francisco concert at the Red Devil Lounge:
So I ended up going to the Red Devil Lounge tonight, where there were about
40 people outside at 11pm trying to get in. There was a pearl white
Navigator from Arizona with completely tinted out windows, that a guy was in
& he told me he was leaving to go get her, and he'll be back in 10 minutes.
10 minutes passed and the SFPD showed up so we thought, "okay she needs
protection" but at about 11:50 she still wasn't there, however the nightclub
manager and workers were all standing outside saying there was nothing going
on tonight (there was even a sign on the door that read EVENT TONIGHT
CANCELLED, 100% REALLY) but people still waited until 12am when the SFPD
informed us that she was indeed scheduled to play, but she was a no show.
Meanwhile, we spotted her here in LA yesterday afternoon -- those pix coming soon.

From the scene of Paris' reconciliation with Elliot Mintz last night around 1 am
This popped up in my inbox on Saturday -- a fan's request to California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to FREE PARIS!
To: Managing Editors at X17 Online
re: Paris Hilton's Sentencing
Please find below the letter I just e-mailed to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and a copy of the petition I am starting to attempt to FREE PARIS HILTON:
May 5, 2007
To: The Honorable Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger
State Capitol Building
Sacramento, CA 95814
Let me first begin by saying that I grew up as a child enjoying all of your wonderful films. You really are the truly great action hero for our time. You are doing a great job in the great state of California.
I would like to bring a matter to your attention that you may or may not already be aware of due to the excessive media coverage this matter has received recently:
Paris Whitney Hilton is 26 year old American celebrity and socialite. She is an heiress to a share of the Hilton Hotel fortune, as well as to the real estate fortune of her father Richard Hilton. She provides hope for young people all over the U.S. and the world. She provides beauty and excitement to (most of) our otherwise mundane lives.
Hilton is notable for her leading roles on the FOX reality series The Simple Life and in the remake of the Vincent Price horror classic "House of Wax". In addition to her work as an actress, she has achieved some recognition as a model, celebrity spokesperson, singer, and writer.
As most of America now knows, Ms. Hilton was just charged in a Los Angeles court with DUI and sentenced to 45 days in Century Regional Detention Facility in California beginning on or before June 5, 2007.
We, the American public who support Paris, are shocked, dismayed and appalled by how Paris has been the person to be used as an example that Drunk Driving is wrong. I do not support drunk driving or condone a person being spared from DUI charges. Paris should have been sober. But she shouldn't go to jail, either.
As depicted on Friday night's episode "Nancy Grace" on Headline News (May 4, 2007), countless celebrities have been "slapped on the wrist" for similar incidents recently. Nick Nolte, Mel Gibson, Tracy Morgan, Wynonna Judd, to name a few, were arrested and never did a day in jail after their initial arrests for drunk driving /DUI /DWI charges. Rappers Busta Rhymes and Eve still walk free after both being arrested for the same charges as Ms. Hilton just this past week. Singer/actress Brandy Norwood's California Highway accident, although no proof of DUI was evidenced in her accident, resulted in the death of a young wife and mother in California, yet Brandy walks free as of today, never doing any time and a woman is now dead possibly due to her reckless driving.
Yet, Paris Hilton did not hurt, injure, or kill anyone or anything, and yet she must do jail time.
This letter, with all due respect to you, sir, is to ask you to please consider granting a pardon to Paris Hilton for her mistake, or at the very least to advocate for a pardon to be given to Ms. Hilton. Please allow her to her return to her career and life. Everyone makes mistakes. She didn't hurt or kill anyone, and she has learned her lesson. She is sincere, apologetic, and full of regret for her actions as she explained tearfully to the Judge handling her case in court yesterday. She is distraught and understandably afraid to enter the prison system.
Please save Paris from ending up at the Century Regional Detention Facility in California. I urge you to think about the welfare of this young woman who will be placed into a facility with murderers, rapists, people who have committed assault, battery, larceny, etc. Paris has made a mortal error and deserves a second chance like so many others in our great nation have been served with after a mistake they have made. In my humble opinion, if the late Former President Gerald Ford could find it in his heart to pardon the late Former President Richard Nixon after his mistake(s), we as compassionate human beings can undeniably support Paris Hilton being pardoned for her honest mistake as well. I hope and expect that you will understand and please consider granting this unusual but important request in good faith to Ms. Paris Whitney Hilton.
Sincerely,
Joshua D.S. Morales

Just who was that with John Mayer on the red carpet at the New York Met Costume Gala last night? All we know is that it wasn't Jessica Simpson - after all, given how, er, on display Jess was last night, we would have been hard-pressed to miss her by John's side! Could there be trouble in paradise already for John & Jessica? Let's hope not - they were only just starting to get boring together!

The Sunset Strip was the scene of an incredible reconciliation last night as Paris Hilton stepped out with some friends - including estranged pubicist Elliot Mintz! Not even a day after Elliot sent out an email saying he would no longer be representing Paris (due to his innocent missteps in LicenseGate), the power player was back by his most famous client's side to help her out of the car and retrieve her cat when it lit out from her house. Elliot then followed Paris back inside so that the pair could converse in private around 1 am.
But it wasn't until an hour later when Elliot emerged that the info really started to flow - during the XCLUSIVE interview he gave our guys, of course! For nearly three minutes, Elliot spoke very candidly about a number of subjects, including Paris officially taking him back on as her representative, his regrets about the handling of her case, and his unequivocal statement that "when Paris Hilton took the stand and testified that she did not know that she should not drive, she was telling the absolute truth"!

Looks like the rumors of Britney performing tonight in San Francisco are false. Our boss man saw her with his own eyes today, in the car near a Beverly Hills park with both kids in the car (he thinks she wanted to stop but there were too many paps around). So instead of a big show, she's at home being a mommy tonight.
And I also got some more details from an inside source, that staff at the Red Devil Lounge in San Fran thought they were booking Britney when someone they now believe to be an imposter, booked the space a coupld weeks ago for the M+M's for tonight. They started to prepare the venue and advertise for tickets but when they didn't hear back from the supposed Britney staff member, the peeps at Red Devil started getting suspicious and the pulled the booking. I've been told it's a small carpeted stage with limited lighting that's more appropriate for Fishbone than for Britney ...

Finding refuge at her parents' Malibu home after her scandalous sentencing to 45 days in jail for driving on a suspended license, Paris found time for an outing to the Malibu Country Mart with her mom Kathy. They stopped at Planet Blue bath and beauty supply and then the clothing store by the same name. Then a break for coffee before braving the paparazzi again. Paris was as tight-lipped as our photographers!

I'm not sure where or when or how Britney lost the lacey dress she started out in on Saturday, but it seems around the time she went into the antiques store Marlow, she dropped the more conservative look for the shorter silky baby-doll dress in the same creme color (that I think she had been wearing underneath the other dress).
She had another wardrobe issue to contend with -- check out how careful she's walking with those high wedge espadrille heels she's got on!

Less than a week after the season finale of Tori & Dean: Inn Love, Oxygen has already ordered up a 2nd season of their second-highest rated program. Now that the Bed & Breakfast is already a success (Dean said they're "booked solid"), season two is supposedly going to focus on their experiences coping with a business and parenthood. Can you even handle it?!?
